Brett Watkins

Born and raised in the suburbs of Western Sydney.

My first taste of performance was in high school when my year 9 English class performed a “literal interpretation” of the Romeo and Juliet balcony scene at the school "Song and Dance" week. It was one of the most terrifying experiences of my schooling years, but also one of the most exhilarating.

Whilst my path from school took me in the direction of Information Technology as my profession, I love expressing my creativity in other ways. Just ask anyone who knows me about my costumes at fancy dress/themed parties.

Then in 2018, I felt I needed a change. After some soul searching,  I decided to go back to that terrifying and exhilarating experience in high school and give acting a go.

​

After doing 18 months of extras work and some acting short courses, I decided to take the next step and I auditioned for drama schools.

​

In 2020, I graduated with a Diploma in Screen Acting from Screenwise. Since then, I have been in many screen and theatre productions, whilst continuing to work full time.

​

2026 see's me taking the next step in my actors journey by becoming a full time actor.
