As part of the launch of this site and my acting odyssey, I want to take a moment to thank a few people.
Thank you to Denise Roberts and the many fabulous tutors and staff at Screenwise. Studying the Diploma of Screen Acting over the past two years has been an amazing experience and I wouldn't be where I am today without the tutelage and guidance this great school has provided me.
To the Diploma of Screen Acting Graduates, Class of 2020. My classmates. We have been through so much together. If full time learning isn't hard enough, throw in a pandemic and we have been through a truly unique bonding experience. I love each and every one of you and I look forward to watching everyone's careers as we all enter into the industry.
Thank you to Nisrine Amine from Parramatta Actors Centre. I remember that first acting class at PAC in 2018. It was my first proper acting class and it was your first time teaching an acting class for adults at PAC. Your enthusiasm was contagious and your advise helped get me my first lead in a short film. That class propelled me to take a leap of faith and chase my dream.
To my friends and family who supported me when I told them what I was planning to do. Some said I was crazy but not a single one of you told me I shouldn't do it. Thank you.
Finally to my wife. You have sacrificed a lot for me over this last 2 years while I studied, practiced and tuned my craft and chased my dream. Seeing each other on some days for only 30 minutes. Not seeing me at all for several days due to my various commitments. The chase has really only just started but I know you are my biggest fan. You believe with all your heart that I could go on to be successful. With someone like that in my corner, how could I possibly fail. Thank you and I love you.
